‎‎This free business breakfast event will showcase how collaboration between the Swansea University-led ASTUTE (Advanced Sustainable manUfacturing Technologies) project and the SEACAMS (Sustainable Expansion of the Applied Coastal and Marine Sectors in Wales) project, led by Bangor University in partnership with Swansea and Aberystwyth Universities, can improve support for Welsh businesses in the Convergence area to be more competitive in the marketplace.

Time: Registration, breakfast and networking begins at 7:45am and the event ends at 10:15am, unless participants choose to attend the optional tour of Swansea University’s research facilities (minibus transport provided).

Event summary: ‎Two major projects, ASTUTE and SEACAMS, supported by European Regional Development Funding through the Welsh Government, have worked with Swansea University spin out company Wildbyte Technologies Ltd on a Daily Diary device, which tracks the movements of marine and land animals, including people.

This successful collaboration and its revolutionary new product – the Daily Diary – will be launched at this showcase event.
