Swansea University is offering free lessons to help people improve their English skills.

The bi-weekly classes, run by the University’s English Language Training Services, start on Wednesday, February 6 and will run until Friday, April 12.

They will be held in the Keir Hardie Building at the Singleton campus from 1pm to 3pm.

Aimed at non-native speaking adults, this general English course will help them to communicate more effectively and includes work on speaking, listening, reading, grammar and pronunciation.

The University has a strong commitment to the local community and it is hoped the course will help broaden its ties with people living locally.

There is no charge as the lessons will be taught by teachers undertaking the Cambridge CELTA Course delivered by the University’s team of teacher trainers.

For further details about the course and how to register please contact the ELTS teacher training team on Swansea 01792 295391 or email p.l.neville@swansea.ac.uk
