The busy café, sports centre and meeting place has now become a permanent fixture on the Swansea Bay waterfront.

The centre offers sessions for children and adults in a variety of sports and activities including beach volleyball, football and rugby, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and table tennis.

As well as hosting a variety of coaching sessions the centre also offers showers and lockers for independent users of the beach and water.

The fully-licensed café provides a wide a range of food and beverages and is very dog-friendly - the dogs even have their own sheltered area to sit and relax. 

To celebrate its anniversary, 360 will be throwing a special birthday bash which will include a host of fun activities on the weekend of Sat 30 September and Sun 1 October.

360’s vision is to improve accessibility and inclusivity through sport and the birthday celebration weekend will showcase all of the activities and amenities on offer and enable everyone to have a go at the wide variety of sport experiences on offer. 

General Manager Kate Hannington, who has been with 360 since its opening says: “It is so exciting to have been part of a team that has built something that has been such a recognisable part of the Swansea community. This centre has been providing sporting opportunities to thousands of people, both locals and tourists, while also allowing them to relax in our beachside cafe.”

She adds: “As a non-profit making venue, we have strived to make 360 not only accessible but a sporting community leader. We have welcomed numerous school groups, hosted dozens of events and have provided the perfect venue for running clubs and various tournaments.”

• All watersports £5 per person
• Court hire £5 per hour
• Kid’s Beach Sports (ages 5-7) – FREE

All main meals in the Cafe Bar (burgers, sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes) £5 each.

After the birthday celebrations, 360 will be getting ready for October’s half-term with a timetable that will include beach and watersports running all week. 360 is a partnership between Bay Leisure and Swansea University.

Other events planned at 360 include :

• Friday 29th September 2017 - 360 will be hosting its 4th annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. All income generated in the Cafe Bar from hot drink & cake sales between 09:00 – 11:30 will be donated to Macmillan.
• Thursday 16th November 2017 - 360 will be serving a 4 course dinner from 12:00-19:00 to mark Celebrate Beaujolais on Swansea Bay day.
