The Behaviour Change Festival, organised by Good Practice Wales and held at the School of Management, Bay Campus, will feature a variety of talks and workshops exploring behaviour change in the workplace.

The event will emphasise the real world, practical application of Behaviour Change Science, identifying what type of behaviour should change, the science and evidence supporting behaviour change and examples of practical activity that has made a difference.

Behaviour Change is becoming an increasingly important area of research and action. It combines psychology, social sciences and practical application. Attendees will find out how they can change the way they behave and what they should do now, to ensure opportunities available to future generations are equal or better.

The Festival is aimed at anyone with an interest in behaviour change at the individual or wider social level – particularly organisations needing to comply with the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, which aims to improve the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of Wales by adopting a more forward-thinking approach to working.

Each day will focus on a different topic, with subjects including sustainability, health and well-being, ethics and behaviours for building operational trust.

The sessions and workshops will be led by speakers from organisations including Swansea University, Public Health Wales, WLGA, Wales Audit Office, Bangor University, Cardiff University, the Future Generations Commissioners Office, the Centre for Innovative Ageing, and the Schumacher Institute.

The event, which runs from 19^th – 23^rd September at the Bay Campus, is free of charge, but spaces for the morning, afternoon or full day need to be booked in advance.
