The agreement, known as a Memorandum of Understanding, will see Admiral and the University working together to develop graduate talent.    This fuller working relationship will initially be mainly with the School of Management, with support from the Swansea Employability Academy.

Admiral and the University will explore opportunities in the areas of curriculum and assessment enhancement, guest lectures, collaborative training, scholarships, placements, and graduate positions.

The new agreement represents a formalised and co-ordinated development in the relationship between the two organisations.  Wendy Sleat of Admiral has been a member of the Swansea Employability Academy Strategy Board since it was formed in 2012, and the Memorandum will provide a further boost to work by the Academy and Admiral to promote opportunities for Swansea University students.  

The relationship will help ensure talented graduates are able to remain in the region, and support the growth of the Welsh economy across a global marketplace.

Building strong partnerships between academia and local businesses is at the heart of the University’s campus development, especially the new Bay Campus, which is the new home of the University’s School of Management.
