ION leadership delivers life changing leadership training for business owners and leaders who want to raise their game, become extraordinary leaders, grow sustainable businesses and enrich the lives of their employees.

Accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management and delivered by Swansea and Bangor Universities, ION leadership is the meaningful alternative to a regular course. The programme creates an environment where leaders are stimulated to exceed their potential, drive innovation, embed learning and to continue their development through their involvement with an ever growing and ambitious leadership community.

The ION programme has already helped 900 leaders in Wales to grow their turnover by an average 26% through the LEAD Wales programme, and with support from the  European Social Fund and Welsh Government it plans to extend this to a further 600 delegates through the brand new part funded programmes launching soon in the local area.

Led by Swansea University in partnership with Bangor University, the ION Leadership project is backed with £2.7m from the European Social Fund to raise skills and drive forward productivity and turnover in small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as in larger companies.

The initiative will support over 590 entrepreneurs and aspiring leaders to develop high quality skills through a targeted leadership programme to raise productivity in their workplaces and develop sustainable, profitable enterprises.

The programme is based on practical, experiential learning within a trusted group of peers. The participants will be able to experiment with different leadership styles and learn how best to implement the latest thinking, strategies and best practice into their own business.
