Student entrepreneurs get chance to win bursaries

Student entrepreneurs could have financial help to get their business off the ground by entering competition to win a £1000 bursary.

The Santander Enterprise Competition organised by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IfEL), is open to all students with a viable business idea.  Five student businesses will be selected to present their ideas and the top three will be awarded a £1000 Bursary each.

Eight £250 bursaries are also available through the Santander Start up fund to students who come up with a project or venture creation idea that either benefits the community or is profit making.

Entries for both competition should be emailed to entrepreneurs@swansea.ac.uk before the closing date on Friday1 May and the results will be revealed in the final on Friday 8th May  at 12pm in Room 353 of the Grove Building.
