Student entrepreneurs get chance to win bursaries

Student entrepreneurs could have financial help to get their business off the ground by entering competition to win a £1000 bursary.

The Santander Enterprise Competition organised by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IfEL), is open to all students with a viable business idea.  Five student businesses will be selected to present their ideas and the top three will be awarded a £1000 Bursary each.

Eight £250 bursaries are also available through the Santander Start up fund to students who come up with a project or venture creation idea that either benefits the community or is profit making.

Entries for both competition should be emailed to before the closing date on Friday1 May and the results will be revealed in the final on Friday 8th May  at 12pm in Room 353 of the Grove Building.
