The Theology Public Lecture Programme at Swansea University was first set up by the Reverend Nigel John, Senior Chaplain at the University and has featured internationally respected Church leaders and world renowned academics who have spoken on a range of different topics.

Distinguished theologian Professor McGrath began his academic career in the field of natural sciences before turning to the study of theology and intellectual history, and occasionally becoming engaged in broader cultural debates about the rationality and relevance of the Christian faith.
