Knowledge Exchange Wales (KEW) Network Event, November 26th 2014 at The Orangery, Margam Park, Port Talbot

Knowledge Exchange Wales, Swansea University’s largest business network is hosting an “Accelerating Business Growth” event. 

This free event will showcase several major Swansea University projects and feature inspirational keynote speakers, exclusive academia-business collaborations, successful start-ups, SME leadership success stories, business clinics, drop-ins, workshops and networking opportunities.

The event, which takes place on Wednesday 26th November at The Orangery, Margam Park starts at 7.00am with a networking breakfast and finishes at 3.30pm.It is suitable for SMEs and industry experts who want to find out more about Swansea University’s specialist expertise and business support services.

The event will highlight the value of collaboration between academia and business and will focus on services that enable growth. There will be particular emphasis on getting investor ready, assiting with sales and business pitching and how to prepare for the challenges of growth.

Kenote speakers include Byron Dixon (CEO, Micro-Fresh), Darrell Mann (engineer and systematic design specialist) and Stuart Hillston (CEO, Constellation Capital).

Professor Richard Davies, Vice Chancellor at Swansea University said:

“KEW is now Swansea University’s main vehicle for networking with companies across Wales and it is by far and away the biggest network at the University and we intend to grow it.”
