The next in the series of free community lectures organised by Swansea University’s Department of Adult Continuing Education (DACE) takes place on Tuesday, February 18, at Swansea Central Library.

Speaker summary:  Dr Repath is a Senior Lecturer in Classics and teaches widely in the areas of Greek and Latin literature and language. He obtained his first degree, in Classics, from the University of Oxford in 1998, and his PhD from the University of Warwick in 2002, with a thesis on the influence of Plato on the ancient Greek novel of Achilles Tatius. He is a founding member of KYKNOS, the Swansea, Lampeter, and Exeter Centre for Research in Ancient Narrative Literatures.
