The site is certainly attracting attention from those passing by and now there’s a chance for people wanting to know a bit more about what’s being built to have their questions answered.

As part of the University’s on-going activity to ensure that local people are well informed about the Bay Campus development, a display is going up in Port Talbot Civic Centre this week.  The display gives a general overview of the development and representatives from the University and the main site contractors will be on hand on Wednesday, 12th March, between 10am and 2.30pm to answer questions from the public.

Ali Parker, Swansea University’s Business Marketing Manager, said: “We’re keen to ensure that everyone in the area knows what the Bay Campus development is all about and why it’s such a significant development for the region. 

“In addition to the information about the Campus Development programme on the University website, the session in Port Talbot Civic Centre is an opportunity for everyone to ask specific questions about the Bay Campus development and what it will mean for them and the rest of the Swansea Bay area. We hope that as many people as possible will come along on 12th March to see the display and find out more about Swansea University’s transformational plans.”

The event in Port Talbot is one of a number which will be taking place over the coming months, with others being planned for Neath and Swansea.  The University are also giving presentations to business groups across the region and holding regular construction update meetings with local residents.
