The programme will take place on Thursday 18^th – Friday 19^th April with the aim of taking a comparative look at different careers in the field of medicine.  The workshops will allow participants to get hands on experience over a range of subject areas with the hope that it will allow them to understand the possible routes into the array of medical careers that are available.  Reaching Wider has worked collaboratively with Swansea University staff, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board to deliver this exciting opportunity and allow participants to gain experience across  Medicine, Spectroscopy and Medical Physics.  The workshops will be delivered across campus, in the Institute of Life Science 2 building and within Singleton Hospital.

The visiting students will be paired up with current Swansea University students, who will be a familiar face for the participants throughout the event but can also give them a real insight into what it is like to be a student at university!
