Swansea University-led Software Alliance Wales is holding a fully subsidised evening workshop in Swansea on Wednesday, July 3, to introduce SME businesses to the concept of website user experience and how thinking about customers and the way they use the internet will enable businesses to improve their website and in turn increase turnover and profits.
The workshop will invite businesses to consider whether visitors to their website are confused and frustrated when they get there and try to use it, and speaker Nigel T Packer will outline why SMEs should they care about getting their website working for them, by meeting customer’s needs.

Nigel T Packer, presenter of this “Website User Experience” workshop, has worked in the internet business sector for more than 14 years, delivering his specialist internet business knowledge at events across the UK and internationally.
He first used the internet in 1979, sending emails to California from Swansea University on Jnet. His experience in business spans the private, public and third sectors, his special brand of knowledge and experience.
Mr Packer’s company, Business for Business Internet Marketing, is based in Llandarcy and his clients include companies of all sizes across the UK and internationally.
