Twenty year old Luciano D'Acri Davies and his twin sister Sabrina, who are from Llandysul in Ceredigion, both have achieved First Class Honours degrees and were accompanied by their proud parents on their graduation days.  Luciano was awarded a BSc in Computer Science while Sabrina gained an LLB degree.

Sabrina has already found a paralegal job at a Cardiff law firm while Luciano will be beginning working as an applications consultant with IT company Capgemini in central London. The twins wanted to study at Swansea because of its seafront location and the courses it offered.  However, amongst their university highpoints are the friends they have met.

Luciano said: “The last three years have been the best so far in my life, I will never forget the people I have met while studying at Swansea. They as well as the place have made my university experience so great.”

Twenty one year old Al and Kate Fish from Cardiff both achieved Upper Second Class BSc in Psychology.  They were watched receiving their awards by their proud parents, younger sister and boyfriends. 

The twins wanted to study at Swansea because of its location, plus the courses and bursaries it offered.  However, amongst their university highpoints are the friends they met during their time arranging events at the Student’s Union.

Kate said: “The last three years have been great.  We have had a great time both studying and socialising and our university experience has been unforgettable.”

‌Twenty two year old Jithin and Jesvin Varghese Chalikkara from Basingstoke have achieved First Class MEng in Computer Science and were watched receiving their awards by their proud parents.

Both Jithin and Jesvin came to Swansea University because of the quality of the Computer Science course.  Jesvin said: “We came to Swansea as it has a very good Computer Science programme and offered a four year MEng course which only a few Universities did at that time.” 

The twins, who are originally from India, are now focussed on job-hunting and hope to get jobs in programming.
