The Dean of St Albans, Dr Jeffrey John, visited Swansea University on Thursday, February 9, to deliver a public lecture as a guest speaker in the University's highly successful Theology Public Lecture Series.

The Welsh born Dean of St Albans demonstrated why he is widely regarded to have one of the sharpest minds and to be one of the most gifted communicators in the Church of England giving a magnificent lecture on 'The Meaning in the Miracles'.

An estimated audience of 240 people travelled from far and wide to hear him speak.

Indeed such were the numbers present that the audience had to be relocated before the event started, to the biggest lecture theatre on the University campus.

The lecture was chaired by Swansea University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Richard B Davies and the vote of thanks was proposed by the Right Reverend John Davies, Bishop of Swansea and Brecon.
