Disturbances of emotional control and behaviour constitute the most debilitating aspects of brain injury and often produce changes in a person’s character or personality.
Changes in personality are often reported by family members as constituting the greatest source of stress and burden when caring for those who suffer head trauma.
Prof Wood will be speaking explaining the nature of behaviour and personality disorders after TBI and to link them with different patterns of brain injury associated with head trauma.
