Event summary:

Dr Daniel G. Williams is Senior Lecturer in English and Director of the Richard Burton Centre for the Study of Wales at Swansea University. His projects as an editor have included a special edition of Comparative American Studies on ‘The Celts and the African Americans’ and Slanderous Tongues, a collection of essays on contemporary Welsh poetry. He is the author of Ethnicity and Cultural Authority (2006) and Black Skin, Blue Books: African Americans and Wales 1845 - 1945 (2012).
